Interruptible Generator Program

The Interruptible Generator Program helps farmers and commercial members lower their energy costs

Storms or high winds can knock out your electric service, leaving you without power. A generator can help you avoid any loss or inconvenience resulting from an extensive power outage. An emergency source of power can be an essential part of any farm or business. A standby power generator is an excellent investment to prevent costly losses during local power failures.

By participating in the Interruptible Generator Program, members help reduce electricity during periods of peak demand. During times of peak demand, Nobles Cooperative Electric will interrupt your service and automatically switch load onto your generator back-up system. In return, members who participate receive a 1.1 cents credit on their kilowatt-hours each month.
